Job Position: Production Team Member/Self Distribution Team-Member
COMPANY BACKGROUND:
Barrel Brothers Brewing Company is a production-scale craft brewery and distillery in the town of Windsor CA Founded in 2015. Barrel Brothers is an innovation-focused company that prides itself on its quick “innovation-to-customer product cycles.” A dynamic and flexible beverage brand rooted in the stability of the local craft beer industry, utilizing unique industry equipment. Barrel Brothers has broadened its focus to pursue other product channels beyond conventional craft beer, particularly in the craft non-alcoholic (NA), ready-to-drink cocktail (RTD), and spirits space. Barrel Brothers looks to add new production and retail infrastructure in 2022.
Notes about the position:
This is a full-time position. Responsibilities will be split between production support in the brewhouse, cellar, and packaging, and supporting the self-distribution business as a delivery driver.
The position provides a unique ability to get in on the ground floor with a rapidly growing brewery with touchpoints in most departments within the company. For the right candidate, this represents a significant opportunity to learn a variety of functions within a craft brewery and to move up quickly into expanded roles with the right initiative.
Responsibilities (Self Distribution Team Member):
Ensuring trucks have been loaded properly with daily deliveries
Delivering 15.5 and 5 gallon kegs of beer to on-premise accounts around the bay area and surrounding satellite locations, as well as cans to off-premise accounts such as retail grocers, bottle shops and c-stores.
Run an efficient delivery route
Communicate and work with sales staff as needed regarding deliveries
Collecting empty kegs and merchandising store shelves.
Communicating with customers, colleagues, and managers to ensure a positive customer service experience
Assist sales team
Responsibilities (Production Team Member):
Assist in all areas related to production of beer, spirits, canned cocktails, and other manufacturing based company projects.
Assist with packaging operations such as cleaning and filling kegs, providing canning line support.
Able to work in a team and autonomous environment with an eye for organization and problem solving.
Passionate to meet growing demands and perform other duties as needed and assigned
Work to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist in organizing storage warehouses.
Requirements:
• Must be 21 years or older
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the demands of an ever changing delivery day.
• Current Class C license
• Capable of moving 140 lb kegs of beer regularly
• A smartphone to run delivery management software
• Attention to detail along with a team-first attitude.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
Starting Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
